Dr Xia Huang has gained this grant to aid her research into 'Robust cathode materials for next-generation high-energy-density and low-cost lithium-ion batteries'
This project aims to develop cutting-edge lithium and manganese-rich cathode materials for next-generation lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) with significantly enhanced energy densities, reduced cost and prolonged lifespan, while advancing understanding of the structure-property relationships.
